AmericanInSweden.com has changed names and moved sites to ExpatsInSweden.com. ALL of the information which exists on AmericanInSweden and much more, is now available on the new site. Along with a new design, the new site has dramatically extended our private area to include our Company lists, CV Posting, Forums, and other Expat networking tools.

AmericanInSweden.com (AIS) was founded in July of 2001 to promote American and Swedish cultural issues/understanding as well as to facilitate international relocation especially for expatriates. AIS, is primarily an informational portal that focuses on: travel to and within Sweden, immigration issues (including visa/work permit and taxation issues), language assistance, employment and other relocation issues. The two founders are both Americans living in Sweden. The Founders both have extensive internet and entrepreneurial experience. Collectively they have traveled to well over 50 countries on 5 continents.
Perhaps most importantly, both are helpless "love refugees" - each having Swedish girlfriends.
